Words of Hope

Hope: "Mommy, I got something really important to say."
Me: "What do you want to say, Sweetie?"
Hope: "Mommy, it's about God."
Me: "Ok Punkin, what do you want to say?"

Once she started, I knew this was going to be super cute. I got the video camera running and was able to capture the last part on film....

Spring Break Highlights

Spring break was so fun! I am so happy to say that I went three whole days (I almost made four!) without telling my child to hurry up. In our normal day to day, we are always running late. I get up earlier, thinking I will have plenty of time to get everyone ready and out the door- but no. I always seem to be pushing the clock. Therefore, you can almost regularly hear me saying things to Hope that start with - "ok Sweetpea, I need you to be a big girl and....". So having a break from our normal schedule was super refreshing! Here are some highlights...

We went to the zoo!




We had Bret & Kyra over for a sleepover, and had a parade the next day! We all needed sunglasses it was such a nice day out!




We took time to paint, bake, dress up, hang out, go to the movies... it was such a great break.

This is a devotional I found a long time ago, but it means so much to me. I reread it (and pray it) at least once a week. Sometimes more on the rough weeks! =0)
